Caring School Community (CSC) 22/10/2009
CSC is a multiyear school improvement program that involves all students in grades K–6. The program aims to promote core values, prosocial behavior, and a schoolwide feeling of community. The program consists of four elements originally developed for the Child Development Project: class meeting lessons, cross-age "buddies" programs, "homeside" activities, and schoolwide community.

MindOut Programme 20/10/2009
The MindOut programme is a ten-session training module that can be used for Transition Year and Fifth Year groups in Irish secondary schools (16-17 year olds). It is now being piloted with Youthreach Centres in the West of Ireland.
It takes a positive approach to the promotion of emotional and social health amongst all young people, viewing mental health as a resource for everyday living and without necessarily referring to mental illness. The emphasis is on the wide and varied range of strategies available to young people to cope with stressful or challenging situations, from personal coping skills to informal networks of support to professional or voluntary support services.

Mental Health Promotion and Suicide Prevention Framework 20/10/2009
The aim of the University is to build optimal learning environments. A part of this strategy is the promotion of mental health and wellbeing among all of its members and to reduce the risk of suicide. The Framework is aimed to reduce suicide, suicidal behavior and incidents of suicide related harm by the promotion of protective factors, improvement of identification and intervention, support/treatment/care in suicide related cases, and to build an evidence base for such cases.
