32 schools with random sample of 249 staff with 1-year average follow-up were examined. The results showed significant positive shift from QPR intervention. Skill training for staff serving as “natural gatekeepers” plus intervention that modify students help-seeking behaviors were recommended to supplement universal gatekeeper training (Wyman, PA.,Brown, CH., Inman, J., et al. Randomized trial of gatekeeper program for suicide prevention: 1-year impact on secondary school staff. Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology. Vol 76(1), Feb 2008, 104-115.).
