SLAN 2007 - Survey of Lifestyle, Attitudes and Nutrition in Ireland 20/05/2008
The third Slan survey of lifestyle, attitudes and nutrition in Ireland has just been published. It surveyed 10000 adults in relation to these issues as well as looking at mental health and mental vitality. It provides a comprehensive and representative perspective on current health practices and also provides useful comparisons with the two previous surveys so that trends can be established.

Irish National Survey on Mental Wellbeing 15/11/2007
The Health Research Board in Dublin have just published the results from the first nationally representative survey on mental wellbeing and psychological distress. Results show that 66% of the population have good mental health, while 12% show signs of mental distress.
