The biennial European conference has been designed by the European Conference Committee of the International Health Economics Association (iHEA) to rotate among the European countries and falls between iHEA’s related world congresses. The 2010 conference will be hosted by the Finnish Society for Health Economics in Helsinki, Finland.
Together with the world congresses, ECHE2010 offers the principal platform for leading researchers with an interest in health economics. This facilitates sharing of results, policy debate and knowledge exchange and also contributes to the foundation of networks in addition to improving the quality of research on health economics. The theme of the 2010 conference is Connecting Health and Economics.
