Improving Health and Work: Changing Lives. The Government’s Response to Dame Carol Black’s Review of the Health of Britain’s Working-Age Population
25/02/2009 - Submitted by: Argyro Kazaki
The Government are in agreement with recommendations made in the Review. They acknowledge that more could be done to promote the benefits of work to health for individuals, employers, healthcare professionals, society and the economy. They also recognise the need for increased employer support to ensure workplaces are healthy and safe and that they promote the well-being of employees and facilitate return to work when workers develop a health condition or impairment.
