1st Annual Conference ‘Engagement in Life: Promotiong Wellbeing in Mental Health’

The conference is organised by the University Department for Mental Health at Bournemouth University and the Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.
The UDMH, based in BU’s School of Health and Social Care, was created to bring practitioners and academics together to undertake projects that will lead to service improvement. It will also support the involvement and participation of service users and their carers in developing local services. This first annual conference will follow the theme ‘Engagement in Life: Promotiong Wellbeing in Mental Health’ through invited presentations and keynote addresses.
This one-day event will be held at BU’s Executive Business Centre (EBC) in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, situated near the town’s mainline rail station and coach/bus interchange. The conference is free, including refreshments and lunch, through pre-registration is highly recommended to ensure that your place is secured. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance regarding access to the conference as well as any dietary requirements you may have.
